Re: TM1 Server Instance Stops unexpectedly
Hi Mark, The unrepeatable crashes are the most infuriating. Assuming the models are ok, and it appears they are, then any error hints towards a possible hardware issue and a corrupt file / memory block. Can you get IT to run deep diagnostics over both the disk and the RAM? If any of the files are in...

Re: The SSL break and TM1Top
I did this at the weekend, Change the path to where your new certificates are; we've moved to V2 certificates and had to add this line to the tm1top.ini file AdminSvrSSLCertAuthority=\\ServerName\TM1SSL\SSLCertificates\tm1ca_v2.pem If the certificates are in a "new" folder then you'll have...

Re: IF I AM NOT attrs
Hi, there are a number of ways to approach this, but first we need to identify exactly what you mean by Grey it out. I'm going suggest that you want to allow input when the Month = This Month and not when it isn't. Possible 1 Create another cube which will hold the Ratings data and is fully open to ...

Re: MDX Query
Getting the Filter mdx function to work, and this may well be not the only way but
{filter({tm1subsetall([Customer])}, [Customer].CurrentMember.Name = "123456789")}
the fun part is that the "123456789" can also be a reference to another cube if you're exploring mdx
Cheers

Re: MDX Query
Hi, There is an mdx expression window and expression recorder in the subset editor that you can turn on to help in developing your query however, I believe the syntax could be {TM1FILTERBYPATTERN({TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( { TM1SubsetAll([Customer] ) } ,0 ) } ,"20001744" ) } so replacing the FILTE...

Re: Create rule for Projection
Hi Chris, 2 quick things 1. if you want the rule to apply only to N level (the lowest level) elements then you need to include N: in your rule statement ['Revenue PROJ']= N: if(ATTRN('Time', !Time, 'IsClosed') = 0, ['Revenue'], ['last 6 months','Revenue']/6); equally you can add a C: which will mean...

Re: Do selections of dimensions in excel and run export proc
Hi Peter, If the need is for a user to push data into a sql table via the web then yes I believe this is possible. The web form will need to have all of the parameters easily definable. e.g. For Periods Column A P1, P2, P3 etc, Column B Export or blank (you can still use data validation on the web) ...

Hi RJ, I'm not sure if I understand the issue properly but here's a guess. You want FTE's to roll up in Overtime but Directs to have an OverTime value of 0. If this is what you want then, the easiest way looks to be, either to 1. Check the alias of the Account Code Name using subst to see if the 1st...

Re: Use Active Form but found duplicate Hierachy
Hi there, When you save you saved, did you first use the Active form option from the ribbon of "Rebuild Current Book", this will rebuild and redefine the ranges and formula for the Active form. Secondly, there is a hidden sheet called "AR01" which holds the row information, if th...

Hey there,
Following on from Steve's reply, you have at least 3 other add-ins loaded at the same time as TM1.
Livelink, TNT, Adobe PDF, it is quite probable that one of these is causing a conflict.
As suggested cn you disable them (unload) one at a time and see if this helps.
Cheers

Re: TM1Web Login Error
Hi there, Are you using integrated login and CAMIDs? If so have you added the user to the correct group via the Controller environment, as CAMID security will override any groups in tm1, ie. if you're in group demo in tm1 but not in group demo via the CAM group then the tm1 login will not see it as ...

Hi Dan, Unfortunately this is a known bug and there is nothing that I know you can do about it. Re: Change sort of columnns in TM1Web
Hi Toto, When a websheet is uploaded to the web there is no idea of selecting a column and doing a dynamic sort, however, there are a number of different ways to achieve this, 1. Static Subsets - create a subset in the order required, asc or desc or any order at all; and then reference this via form...

Re: Issues migrating data to another cube
Hi there, The easiest way to test if your view is creating correctly is to expand the cube list in Server Explorer / Arcitect, expand Views, Right Click and export as ascii output / text data. this should bring up your view in the dialgoue box, and show what the current selections are, including whi...

Hello there, There are a number of things to check, 1. Have you set the TM1 cube properties - you need to specify a measures and a time diemsnion for some parts of BI (tm1->cubename->Right Click->Properties 2. Have you set the }HierarchyProperties cube - you need to give the the levels in a tm1 dime...

Re: TM1 Web - can't open report
Hey there Martin, The issue probably lies with Excel 2010. Although the xls is in an old version won't the rendering still be done using Excel 2010. As yet this version, even in 9.5, is unsupported. I suspect the whole point of this was to establish if it worked though! If you install Excel 2003 or ...

Re: Rules and defining Areas partially twice
HI there,
Is there a ru$ file in the data directory, as this has an impact of rules you save, appear to be saving properly but don't actually change?
More thoughts as they come to me - it may take a while
Cheers
